Hey guys!
Go check out Diamond in the Rough which features the lovely Penny Lane today!!!
Don’t forget that Diamonds has moved to a new location, so update your URLs to THIS.
Blog: Penny Lane Style
Blogger’s Name: Penny Lane
Location: Spain
Why we like her: Well one of the main reasons we love reading Penny’s blog is that she makes fashion accessible. We all love clothes, but sometimes the catwalk’s offerings can be a bit daunting to an untrained eye. Penny always manages to pick out the pieces we can relate to and can actually see ourselves wearing!….

…and your heart will fly on wings…
/simplemente piensa en cosas que nos hacen felices, y tu corazón volará con alas…
The image of such a sentence, and the first thing that comes to my mind too, are a big smile and a heart with wings on it. It turns kind of funny, so i draw an automatic smile. But then, i keep on thinking, and the truth is this sentence is deeper than that.Thinking positive is the only thing that make us possible to stand up after falling down, that’s what makes us believe that whatever happens, we can go on. After a while of reflecting, i even consider it synonymous with hope.
So, as peter pan once said: let’s think of happy things =)
/La imagen gráfica ante semajante frase, y lo primero que llega a mi mente, es una gran sonrisa y un corazón con alas. Me resulta cómico, y automáticamente sonrío.

Blogger’s Name: Adele
Location: UK
Why we like her: Eh, have you SEEN her URL …. http://thewizardofoohsandahhsandfalalas.blogspot.com/
WOW THAT’S AMAZING ….and even though cool url is TOTALLY reason enough to read her religiously, why don’t you humour me and tell me some more: Well…

When these photos on Disney’s fallen princesses by Dina Goldstein were made public, I think many mothers took action by hiding them from their own little princesses. After all, they weren’t exactly an accurate depiction of the singing fairytale maidens we’ve grown so accustomed to seeing. For starters, they were missing their singing forest friends.

Check out Her Name Was Lola on Diamond in the Rough today!!!!!
Blog: Her Name Was Lola
Blogger’s Name: Lara
Location: New York
Why We Like Her: We love the variety of Lara’s blog. When asked where she got her inspiration from, she said:
My travels, for one. I’ve had ample opportunity over the past few years to live and travel to some extraordinary places. I’m constantly inspired by my surroundings. New York City provides a spectacular backdrop for a lot of what I’m writing about now. Fashion, food, film, theatre, architecture, interior design, you name it; and sometimes it’s the little things that make the largest impression, like French macarons!

At the moment, I’m digging childhood treasures from days gone by; or, rather, their grown up equivalents. So instead of throwing a modern twist on a childhood tale, I thought I would share a few items I am currently coveting that transport me back to another time entirely (specifically: the late eighties/early nineties cusp).
1. My favorite part of childhood trips to the Science Center? Astronaut Ice Cream!
2. I want to support Urban Outfitters + The Impossible Project’s initiative, by purchasing my very own, limited edition Polaroid camera kit (containing one pack of preserved 779 film and one 600 classic Polaroid camera).

English Rose Darlingg has stepped up to the plate today over on Diamond in the Rough…
Blog: English Rose Darlingg
Blogger’s Name: Sarah
Location: Ooooo it’s a mystery!
Why We Like Her: She describes her blog as “enchanting trinkets from a teenage dreamer” and she couldn’t be more accurate in her description because we’ve discovered so many treasures there. She has the most wonderful collection of pictures and some really beautiful quotes.

Blog: Grace’s Birdcage
Blogger: Alissa
Location: Kansas
Why do we like her? Cos she loves Lady GaGa!!!!!!! She loves Lady GaGa SOOOO much that she threw a party with a Favourite Musician theme, so that she’d have an excuse to dress up like her!
WOW! Lady GaGa is AWESOME, which makes Alissa awesome for her dedication to her ….why else is she awesome? Well not that you need a reason other than the Lady GaGa one, but I will humour you anyway…
Check out the rest of Alissa’s profile HERE.
Beauty and the Beast was my favorite children’s story growing up. I (pathetically) could still recite Disney’s version word-for-word in high school. This editorial from Vogue 2005, shot by Annie Leibovitz, has always been one of my absolute favorites. I paired each shot with some of my favorite quotes from the movie and a piece of vintage jewellery from etsy.
