The First Day of the Rest of My Life…

Did you ever get the feeling that life is just passing you by?

I’ve realised that since I’ve finished college, there isn’t a whole lot going on in my life. Living back at home is a huge factor in that: this place makes me want to sit quietly in a dark corner with a blanket over my head a lot of the time.

hpim3796Lyndsay made me locate photos from April where we walked around DCU pretending we were in Paris after out ACTUAL France-Trip had to be cancelled, and it made me long for some random-creativity and imaginative fun; the same kind that my previous life was filled with!

Every time I meet up with someone I haven’t seen in a while, I genuinely have nothing to tell them: “Oh you know …just been working ….earning a living …you know yourself …”

How morbid!?

So I’ve made a decision.

Everyday, I’m going to do something fun or different or talkable-about, even if it’s only small like drinking a chocolate malt in Eddies or buying a new hairband.

I refuse to be stuck in this life-rut any longer!!

Dunno how easy it’s going to be or how long it will last, but I’ll try and post each day about whatever exciting snippet I have.

Lol …not going to be easy seeing as my laptop is on the blink at it takes about five hours to upload a picture (thank you Work Computer for giving me internet!).

Wish me luck!!!!!

  1. I LOVE that photo!

This sounds like a good plan Catherine. I think you should document everything on your blog as well!

ps – actually Johanna’s dress is more like YOUR black dress. I thought they were the same… Johanna’s just has lace on the top like yours.

  2. oh… you already said you were going to document it…

G' know you've got something to say....
