The Little Sparrow

Have grown up on the streets of Paris, Edith Piaf is considered by many to be the greatest French singer of all time, while her almost haunting songs (“Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien” and “La Vie En Rose”) are known and loved around the world.

The Little Sparrow was immortalised in the recent make of La Vie En Rose, where the stunning Marion Cotillard portrayed Edith Piaf, earning a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award, and  an Academy Award for her performance.

On a slightly tragic note, to the edge of Western Europe, Piaf’s best known performance  is probably her appearance in the Specsavers ad.
