*sigh*

Ah lads, I’m dying.

Well not actually dying, but it frickin’ feels like it right now!

The Tooth has struck again.

And this time it’s brought its bessie mate Infection along with it.

One half of my mouth is on fire.
I’ve never experienced this much pain and I’ve already taken too many painkillers so I’m defenseless right now.

The Boy has been great though.
I came home from work yesterday and cried for a half hour from general pain and hunger (I can’t chew right now and liquid doesn’t fill you up!) and he brought mushy, non-chew-needing food home for me.
He even sacrificed a World Cup game so I could watch Roman Holiday, bless him.

I’m not in a very good mood now, so this is the extent of today’s blogging.
I do promise to visit all your blogs this evening though to make up for my lack of cyber-socialising over the last few days.

And sorry you had to read my depressing whiney post.
I’m done now.

  1. teeth suck! Mine were so bad and the pain really is shocking ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I hope it eases up for you soon

  2. A w you poor dear… I feel your pain of not being able to eat (when I had tonsilitis I couldn’t swallow). Feel better… Put your fanciest shoes on to make you feel better!

  3. Oh you poor thing! You have my full sympathy.

I had problems with my wisdom teeth and the nerves around them for a bout a year. The pain was so bad that I was put on a cocktail of 4 different painkillers – and they still didn’t stop the pain.

My only piece of advice is make a playlist of the most soothing music that you have and listen to it with your eyes closed. It was the only thing that would help me to sleep. Well… that and the handful of nurofen that I took.

    *hugs*

Just fill your mouth with a few clove or clove oil. It has the same compounds dentists use to numb your jaw and is a lifesaver when you have a toothache. I wouldn’t even take a tablet.

Of course, it means you have to live with the taste of cloves.

  5. Ahh man, toothache sucks! When I get it, my whole mouth hurts making it impossible to even eat pasta. So I feel your pain. Hope you feel better soon ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Feel better soon ๐Ÿ˜ฆ xx

  9. I third the cloves comment, but it comes with a *You will probably womit and start thinking food is the devil* warning…. Have u read my post about the day my face exploded? You’ll know how I feel about cloves in that case.

I totally feel your pain tho. poor thing. *hug*

  10. hahaha womit! Obviously I meant vomit. But if the toothache is that bad, you might be pronouncing it ‘womit’?

Ah you poor thing, I hate toothache and dentists (especially the drill!).

I had terrible problems with my wisdom teeth when I was 17 so the summer before I sat my leaving cert I had them taken out under a general anaesthetic. It was the best thing that I did so if you have the option get it taken out!

    Love the blog btw!

I wish you recover yourself soon!

  16. Excruciating pain is bad enough, but not being able to comfort-eat is just adding insult to injury.
