Tumbleweed

So……..

*awkward pause*
*whistles non-chalantly to fill the silence*
*stops whistling*
*silence continues*

This is how my head feels today.
Over recent months people have been telling me that my posts make them laugh, which I find very strange because I never considered myself to be a funny person.

Sarcastic?
Yes.

Blunt?
Of course.

A little odd?
Well duh!

But not funny.
And now I’ve started to focus in on my apparent ability to be funny.
And I can’t find anything.
I’m drawing a creative blank.

THE PRESSURE!!!!!!!

I am failing you all.

You should  just leave.

And watch the World Cup, which is probably more interesting than me even though it has to be the most boring tournament OF ALL TIME!

I do have one non-funny thing to say though!

This is a really pretty tee being sold by Urban Outfitters.
It was designed by Hazel who blogs at Bonjour Girl

  1. Don’t worry you’re not failing us! I love that tshirt :O
And I’m having a bit of a blogging block at the moment, too. It’s really frustrating isn’t it? x

  2. Wooo pretty tee! I hope the silence in your mind ends soon.
(I love the world cup!! I normally hate soccer, but when australia is involved i go nuts, I scared mat when i screamed at the tv because of the f$%@ed up umpire in the last aussie match haha!!)
    xxxxx

  3. PS. I am very sorry I almost just swore on your blog 😦 xxx

Don’t worry about being funny. Be whatever and whoever you wanna be because we enjoy your posts anyway! I like how you just let whatever you’re thinking out onto your blog, it’s nice to see and very fresh. So keep up the good work!

  5. nom nom nom, i replied on my post but I thought I would just paste it here too 🙂 :

I put them with spring onions, cucumber, coriander, mint, thai basil, fish sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, tossed them about and put them in the soggy rice paper and ate them with soy sauce (I think they would be even better with prawns inside and with a sesame sauce!!!) xx

    • Lol, you’re a commenting FIEND today! 😛

They sound so yummy! I might make them tonight if I can find rice paper in our local supermarket, because I have most of the ingredients in the cupboard already! I use fish sauce and soy sauce in everything, lol!

Ouch, some of us (well, me) LOVE the World Cup! But I still love your blog 🙂

    • Lol thanks! But I didn’t mean all World Cups…I meant this one specifically…with the exception of last night’s Brazil match and today’s Portugal match, it’s been very dull *sigh*

    That tee is amazing!
I think what makes you funny is the fact that you don’t necessarily think what you’re saying is funny! You don’t try and thats what makes your blog so darn amazing!

  11. You always have fantastic posts! 🙂

    Cute tshirt.

Watch True Blood- it’s so good!

  12. I get that too sometimes, when it’s on your mind that you should be being funny, NOTHING comes to you that’s remotely humorous. It’s best to put it totally out of your mind and just have the confidence in your writing to know that hilarity will ensue if you let it…

Which of course, will definitely happen with you. You have “the humour”. You can’t lose it. 🙂 xx

Having a bit of a blogging blank myself the past few days, I sympathise!

  14. I actually found this funny. Haha. No pressure, whatsoever. 🙂
